"

Millennium Fellowship Project: #Eradicate Malaria campaign

As a Pharmacy student and a volunteer at a community pharmacy, I have been opportuned to witness the effect of malaria on individuals at community level most especially children. Lack of awareness has prevented the eradication of this menace and hence the need to sensitize people about the disease and how it can be prevented and eradicated.

#Eradicate Malaria campaign will be carried out using social media such as Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter. These media will be a means of educating people, via story telling containing information about the disease and how it can be prevented, flyer's and designs which will be used also. It is aimed at reaching at least 500+ people using the internet and 300+ people via community walks due to the pandemic.
