I understand the power of youth empowerment and engagement. I have deeply understood the power that youth carry in bringing forth the social change that we desire. I am very excited to be a part of the Millennium Fellowship because this platform would expose me to a wide network of young people who also believe in the power of their voice and are ready to constantly bring forth innovative solutions to drive social change. I believe that with young people working together and having a platform that would implement the solutions they introduce, we would clearly notice social impact.
Millennium Fellowship Project: Queer Love
YSDC educates young people on the Sustainable Development Goals and using Design thinking, we ensure that youth are able to bring forth practical solutions to social issues. We promote social entrepreneurship and leadership needed to realize the Agenda 2030 and our platform is not only dedicated to articulating youth voices and providing practical solutions to Sustainable Development challenges, but also implementing these initiatives to create a more sustainable and resilient future for all by 2030. We have had both physical and virtual events since 2019 and these have had about 500 people in total. Our goal is to reach about 200 more people before the end of 2020, to ensure that the conversation never stops and that youth are actively concerned about sustainable solutions.
