UNITED NATIONS ACADEMIC IMPACT AND MCN PROUDLY PRESENT FREDERIC OLUWASOLA IDOWU, A MILLENNIUM FELLOW FOR THE CLASS OF 2020.
University of Lagos | Lagos, Nigeria | Advancing SDG 4 & UNAI 2

" I glad to be part Millennium Fellowship because is an opportunity for me to be equipped with time-tested global practice and the exposures, the network, the recognition and atmosphere for collaborations and holistic value-exchange with other innovative and passionate fellows across the globe where we challenge our minds to invent and share novel ideas on practical ways to solve Global Goals most especially the problem of Quality Education (Goal 4). I have the burning desire to see undergraduates leave the university system fully equipped to impactfully function and drive innovations in the work world. And I am committed to putting everything in place to see that happen in the shortest possible time. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: IBridge Global Students
IBridge was founded with the mission to train undergraduates to develop specialized skills set (Effective Communication, Time Management, Organizational Skill, Etiquettes and Mannerism, Workplace Ethics, Public Speaking skill, The Art of Negotiation, Networking and Value Addition, The Art of Persuasion, High-Level Diplomatic Discussion, Critical and Strategic Thinking skills amongst others) which would be core skills required in the world of works, most especially the emerging future of works. I realized that these essential skills are the missing links in the education curriculum of most of our Universities and Higher Institutions of learning; which has invariably produced graduates who are ill-informed of what is truly required to play crucial roles outside the four-wall of the University.
IBridge Global Students' activities will mainly be online due to the pandemic. We hope to train 400 Undergraduates through 4 Online Webinars on professional skills development, CV writing and Job Interview, Proposal Writing, and Business Model Development, Entrepreneurship, and Social Media for professionals ( 1 every month with 100 Trainees in attendance). We will make use of Whatsapp and live (Facebook and Instagram) alternatively for the training.
We will get 10% (80) of the total attendees' Curriculum Vitae Reviewed by experts and get them registered for a free course online (MOOC).
