" I am truly excited to be a Millennium Fellow as it is a great privilege and opportunity to work with like minded and diverse people. I desire to make great impact in the lives of teenagers, youths and the society at large. I believe that building capacity will make an individual limitless and the seemingly impossible things become achievable. I am deeply committed to developing myself and people, I will go great lengths to see this achieved. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: The BuildYou Initiative
The BuildYou Initiative project seeks to promote Goal 4 and Goal 8 by ensuring that young Nigerians are educated beyond the four walls of the classroom while also acquiring soft skills that would bring about innovation and help them to build an entrepreneurial mindset which in turn will contribute to the growth of our economy.
• To ensure that Young Nigerians are aware of the SDGs.
• To encourage them to advance the global goals wherever they find themselves.
• To make them see a need to add value to themselves and build capacity.
• To equip them with Soft Skills that prepare them for an advancing world.
• To help them sharpen their skills to build an entrepreneurial mindset.
By the end of the Millennium Fellowship, the team hopes to impact the lives of 500 people.
