United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In the three months the application was open in 2020, 15,159 young leaders applied to join the Class of 2020 on 1,458 campuses across 135 nations. 80 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 1,000+ Millennium Fellows. The Class of 2020 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

Millennium Fellowship Project: MAC (Maternal Adolescents and Child) Health Initiative “MAC-Hi”
This is a three-pronged project that assembles and provides solutions to the needs and the hindrances of the targeted demographic. It will be implemented under Maternal, Adolescent and Child Health. and it was birthed by SRHR and Maternal and child Health advocates. Our aim to is to develop and promote a new generation of better equipped individuals who are able to thrive in the society by identifying and navigating barriers that stand in the way of Women and children receiving quality healthcare. This essence of this project is to build a community of health-aware women one at a time.
About the Millennium Fellow
Musa Faridat is a third year medical student in Nigeria who has keen interest in public health and medical innovations. She is a student parliamentarian and serial volunteer. She codes and reads African literature in her free time.
