United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In the three months the application was open in 2020, 15,159 young leaders applied to join the Class of 2020 on 1,458 campuses across 135 nations. 80 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 1,000+ Millennium Fellows. The Class of 2020 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

Millennium Fellowship Project: THE TRANSFORMERS
The transformers aims to reduce the illiteracy level within ilorin, kwara state and neighbouring states/villages via Grant's of empowerment/scholarship. Furthermore promoting skills acquisition via creating a skill training platform and setting up committees to sensitized youths, undergraduates etc on the need to acquire a vocational/entrepreneurial skills, in addition encouraging individuals via digital technological empowerment tools towards equipping them ahead of the future.
About the Millennium Fellow
Lawal David Jeremiah is an uundergraduate in the university of ilorin, kwara state. Nigeria. Before he gained admission to the university he emerged as the second best individual speaker in Lagos state schools debate, best student in Cedio Academy. Upon qualification and admission to study industrial relations and personnel management, Lawal David Jeremiah emerged as the overall University best speaker @the Emirates Verbal contest, best debater at the inter faculty debate. He was appointed as the level governor in his department to guide and lead his team immaculately. He set up a committee which later metamorphosed into an organisation that seeks to meet the SDG 1, 4&17 goals. He is currently in his second year and Hope's to create a massive change via the Millennium platform.
