Millennium Fellowship Project: THE STEP-UP INITIATIVE

Millennium Fellows working on the Step-up initiative are committed to promoting human rights through empowerment programs and this would be achieved by organizing virtual programs which seeks to enlighten the audience on the need to embrace and advance gender equality as well as educating women on how to take up spaces in the corporate world.

The second aspect of the project seeks to empower female students by providing mentorship opportunities for them and educating individuals in communities about the dangers of child marriage. The Fellows are positive that enlightening people about the need for gender equality as well as inclusion of women and girls in achieving this equality is one step to reducing inequalities and bridging the inequality gap. Together, they chose to collaborate and work together to achieve these objectives.
