ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2020

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In the three months the application was open in 2020, 15,159 young leaders applied to join the Class of 2020 on 1,458 campuses across 135 nations.  80 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 1,000+ Millennium Fellows.  The Class of 2020 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

" I am strongly passionate about peace, Justice and strong institutions. I truly believe that for a society to have a functional government, it must have a strong understanding of country's security. I have opined that to sustain the justice system and peace of a country, there must be a sustainable and functional institutions. No developed nation of the world has ever survived without peace. The developed countries of the world have long ago build stronger institutions to serve as the bedrock of their development. I believe every man should have equal opportunity and access to government in order to have a well mannered, moraled and justified society. Until Nigeria achieve this, I shall not relent in my advocacy for proper institutions that care about every man on the street of the world's most populous black Nation. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Young Diplomats Chamber

Young Diplomats Chamber is a movement of passionate youths who truly believe negotiation, alternative Dispute resolution, peaceful diplomacy and Jusitce is the most sustainable tool to keep the world at peace and maintaining strong institutions to ensure the world peace at large.

Our goal is to train young people on the core importance of peace and how to be emotionally intelligent enough to sustain peace and justice in their various community. We are on the mission to train not less than 800 energetic youths on the core values of leadership and how to sustain peace in our their various communities. We shall develop a course ware that will detailed various aspect of our projects to our participants and attend seminars where trained Alternative dispute resolution attorneys shall give various ways in settling dispute. By the end of this program every participant shall be well equipped about what is generally obtainable in the world and how to be an emerging Global youth leader.

About the Millennium Fellow

Sherif Olayiwola is an emerging youth Leader, a global citizen and an advocate of peace and Justice. He is curently a serving senator of the university of Ilorin Student Union Senate Council and the founder of Young Diplomats Chamber. He believes in equal opportunity as Talent is evenly distributed.
