" I am elated to be a Millennium Fellow cause it is such an amazing opportunity and platform, it gives me the opportunity to meet diverse groups of people from across Africa and the world. I'm honoured at the privilege to work along side brilliant young minds. It also gives me an opportunity to represent my community and by extension my country, to find productive solutions to the problems that ail it. Growing up, I realised that not everyone around me had the privilege to have access to clean water and sanitation, at that point I made it my mission to help those around me have access to these features essential to a healthy life. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Krystal Clear Foundation
Krystal Clear Foundation's aim is to bring awareness on the plight of communities that lack clean water and sanitation and in turn help in providing sustainable amenities to help combat the issue. This will be acieved by:
- AWARENESS: bringing awareness to the foundation through social media and publications. Bringing KCF to the world.
- REGISTRATION: planning on legalising it as an NGO in Nigeria and potentially the United States.
- FUNDRAISING: creating a website to aid the raising of funds and hosting a carnival for the raising of funds.
By 2021 we plan to have been in at least 5 publications and to have raised $1000 towards a borehole in a local community.
