ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2020
United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In the three months the application was open in 2020, 15,159 young leaders applied to join the Class of 2020 on 1,458 campuses across 135 nations. 80 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 1,000+ Millennium Fellows. The Class of 2020 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Give a Girl a Pad
Give a Girl a Pad revolves around participating in a pad drive, educating people on teen pregnancy, menstrual health, mental health and sex education. Vanneziah and the team intends to reach approximately an entire ward in a county, roughly 300 people - with a target to collect 6000 pads.
About the Millennium Fellow
Vanneziah Kiptalam is a self-driven proactive fourth year pharmacy student in the University of Nairobi. She is very passionate about making change in her circle of influence and where she comes from.Through this she founded an organization,Amka Africa,which focuses on achieving good health and well being ,zero poverty and gender equity.She is a campus leader at WOSWA Kenya and a YALI East Africa alumnus which have both helped in sharpening her leadership skills
