" I am humbled to be part of Millennium Fellowship, since its here that i will voice my ability and my ideas to Africa and the world. I also love that am an International Relations scholar, throughout my education ive learnt and seen that development issues are an important aspect in our day to day life. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Quality Education
What I hope to achieve with this project is proper education in my city and country. Most public schools around my home and town are dilapidated, have no proper infrastructure and adequate resources, so students really struggle to school, interact and even play. Also am thinking of taking students through mentorship projects as I have seen them on TV on topics such as sex education, gender equality and ordinary lifeskills to make them all round individuals. Even if I wont be able to impact my whole country and city, I hope to touch a few lives in the schools or campuses I will be able to reach out. There is a need for this kind of education, especially life skills, since I was once in school and no one ever payed attention to this yet its very crucial not just to be exposed to academic education but also skills that will aid in the future.
