" I am enthralled to be part of the Millennium Fellowship because it is a platform for me to extend my passion of giving back. I feel compelled to sow forward that which has sown into me by those who I have learnt from and been inspired by. For this reason, on a small scale, I have been involved in various academic engagements with my Peers which are centred towards developing critical and independent thought. As such, the Millennium Fellowship will enable me take my deliberations a notch higher. I believe that being led by purpose makes each individual count. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Student for the Students Initiative

Student for the Students Initiative is a project that seeks to imbue students with critical and independent thinking skills. The main idea governing the initiative is that Quality Education is not about cramming class notes, but having a mind of oneself. Student performance is largely affected by learning styles and approaches. As such, the team hopes to impact 50-100 students by December 2020, the idea being that this will cause a ripple effect where they will also extend to others that they will meet these particular skills.
