" I am honored to be a Millennium Fellow as i will be part of the young generation that seeks to push for positive, transformational and constructive change in Africa and in Kenya in-line with vision 2030 and the Africa 2063 agenda. I believe that partnerships for the goals are essential to the success of other SDGs as they empower stakeholders to work for the benefit of the community. As a young Millennium Fellow i believe i can be the voice that calls others to action. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Humans of Peace

Humans of Peace is an online social-awareness organization that uses a community-based approach to make an impact on society. It focuses on spreading awareness on issues that, if addressed properly, can help build peaceful societies e.g Gender discrimination, Tribalism, Bullying, Mental Health Stigma, Police Brutality, Toxic masculinity in African societies, Albinism awareness etc. Through such social awareness, various calls to action can be responded to and addressed either through community service, signing petitions or social activism in the form of protests to provide better legislation.

Our goals are to perform capacity building through holding 10 workshops/ Seminars in collaboration with field experts to help the youth improve their civic education and build global citizenship. Also to increase our reach on Instagram to at least 1000 followers. Do community service work in 5 areas where H.O.P addresses inequalities. Create 15 digital narratives on social awareness.
