" I am excited to be a Millennium Fellow for it is a platform that will enable myself and other young people to learn from each other in order to better the lives in our communities, Africa and the whole world. I believe that change of mindset, education and support can help eliminate the cycle of poverty. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: I am because you are

I am because you are, is a project that involves initially giving out fruits and sandwiches to those who are homeless. Whilst giving out the food, there is going to be a session whereby we give out hope and motivation. The goal is to help around 100 to 150 people between the timeframe of August to December, the help involves feeding but mainly helping to change the mindset of poverty and increase hope in one's life.
