" I am passionate about creating a change, and I believe the Millennium Fellowship will equip me to be better in this regard. Being a part of the Millennium Fellowship will offer an opportunity of meeting with like-minded individuals who have the same passion for effecting a change. I will have the opportunity to learn from them, and network to make an even greater impact in my immediate community.

I believe the trainings I will receive will broaden my scope and position me for global impact. I will be a better leader, a better student, a better Nigerian, and a better global citizen because I will be trained on how to respond to a higher calling - the calling to help humanity.

I am excited to be a part of the Millennium Fellowship, and I look forward to learning, networking and creating a positive change! "

Millennium Fellowship Project: SheCan Initiative

This campaign will be launched to sensitize the community on gender inequalities-related issues and how they affect both males and females in society. This campaign will include roundtable unfiltered conservations on certain sensitive subjects that sometimes are rarely discussed in society. However, they need to be addressed so that fewer people are affected by the same issues. The campaign aims to involve mostly Kenyan university students located in Kilifi county especially those who are really interested in the discussions surrounding gender inequality. If possible create a club at their universities for easy discussions. The campaign will not only happen physically but also online. The aim of the campaign is to create a platform that empowers the role of both genders with no discrimination.
