Millennium Fellowship Project: Sustainable Life Impact Initiative
Sustainable Life Impact Initiative (SLII) founded and led by Millennium Fellow Joel Jagaba (CEO) and co-founded by Millennium Fellows Adewale Adebisi Lateef and Aliyu Olatunji ALIU is aimed at provision of veterinary medical services and advice to poor rural agrarian community on best management practices to improve livestock production and increase their income, thereby advancing the UNAI 1 and SDG(s) 1 and 3. Ensuring the health of animals is vital to safeguarding the health of people, not only in terms of ensuring the availability of safe, healthy food for all, but also in terms of preventing disease outbreaks or transmission. healthy animals means healthy people as human health, animal health and the environment are linked. The project hopes to impact well over 200 lives during the Milennium fellowship period (August-December 2021).
About the Millennium Fellow
Joel Jagaba is a bright, young promising future leader, Public Health advocate, Animal welfare enthusiast and a purpose driven fellow, who is currently rounding up his studies at the Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, for the degree of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM). He is passionate about community health and impacting people's lives through his role as a caregiver and a soon to be Veterinarian, he also hopes to collaborate with the United Nations in the nearest future in the areas of people oriented programes and hopes to make sustainable impacts on a global level.
