ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2021

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In 2021, over 25,000 young leaders on 2,000+ campuses across 153 nations applied to join the Class of 2021. 136 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 2,000+ Millennium Fellows. The Class of 2021 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

" I am very excited to be part of class of 2021 Millennium Fellowship as this will give me an opportunity to develop my leadership skills and will provide me a platform to achieve my goals. I will also be able to work with like minds with same passion to achieve mental health issues. This will not only help me to be a better person but contribute to my nation regarding health care. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Health Sheriff

Health Sheriff is a virtual support group for people dealing with mental health issues and a safe place to talk to Sheriff’s. Sheriffs are students majoring in psychology, who are passionate about Mental Health and hope to bring a change in a society. We provide one on one sessions and a group session (support group). We connect clients who are suffering with mental health issues and can’t afford an actual therapy with psychology majors. They have sessions once a week.

About the Millennium Fellow

Apurva Sakpal is a second year student pursuing an English Honors degree at Amity University Mumbai. She has worked as a section editor in a college magazine Zenith by Amity School of Languages. She likes playing guitar, reading books and meeting new people. She believes small changes add up to huge results.
