" Leadership and learning are indispensable to each other. The Millennium Fellowship program will help me hone my skills and learn from some of the best minds on the planet. It will surely be one of the major milestones in my career. I am someone who has always believed that education and guidance from the right sources can help us excel in life and earn a well-respected position in society. Therefore, I intend to help people by making them aware of the various opportunities that await them. I am more than excited to do my part and also grow as a leader in the process. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Project R.I.S.E.

Project R.I.S.E. (Raising awareness. Imparting knowledge. Serving society. Educating people) is an initiative taken by a group of 8 Millennium Fellows of 2021 from Amity University Mumbai. We are working towards SDG 4: Quality Education and UN Academic Impact Principle #3 Education for All. Unlike traditional education, our team believes in holistic education where all types of needs of a person are catered to. This contributes to the overall development of a student and helps them grow mentally, physically, and socially. Our team had envisioned a few projects for the period of September to November 2021, that we believe have the potential to create a small, but the meaningful impact in the lives of the people we serve. This includes a donation drive, a series of educational webinars with emphasis on vocational training, and the publishing of an E-Book which will cover information and articles on all necessary topics that our project intends to spread awareness about.
