Millennium Fellowship Project: My Constituency
As we all know , India is biggest democratic country in the world . Elections held in India is the biggest as it involves 1.3 billion people . So , with this huge population administration becomes very problematic and there are always people who will be ignored and un-cared . It is very difficult for a commoner to express his problems and it is even more difficult for the leaders to keep track of his people and come up with a solution for their problems as there will be thousands of new complains every day . Even when the funds are released to solve few problems , money crosses many hands and the problems which are needed to be solved will receive less money than expected , which then results in low quality infrastructure . So to solve this problem my team have come up with an idea . We have made a Social Media Application which supports three different UI’s as listed Below :
1) Admin’s UI :
Our software will take in the voters data which should include age , gender , profession and their problem . Later , using Machine Learning K-Means Algorithm clusters or groups are formed and it automatically suggests the user (in this case representative ) what is the best course of action they can take based on how many people get effected , which age group and profession it will effect , Budget etc . Based on this output , our Administrators can decide on which problems he/she need to focus on solving.
2) People’s UI :
In here People have to login using their Aadhar Card and Voter Id . They need to choose their constituency so that they can mention their problems . They can also view popular problems in the country and help other villages in solving their problems if they have a efficient solution .
3) Community UI:
In here people can join different communities based on their Profession or interests to keep up-to-date with the everyday technologies .
Challenges we ran into
1) Deciding right Language to code our Website.
2) Connecting our Database to Google Sheet and MySql Simultaniously .
3) Performing K-Means Algorithm on Categorical data
