Amity University | Mumbai, India | Advancing SDG 3 & UNAI 2

" A good leader is motivated when there are challenges to meet, he sees challenges as opportunities. Being part of the Millennium Fellowship, I want to see challenges of the society as the opportunity for overall growth. Through my project I want to help develop rural parts of India through meditation and spreading awareness about mental health. I believe, the best form of service is to uplift someone's state of mind. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Sudarshana
Front for Education, Equality and Liberation (FEEL) is a project led by Millennium Fellow Karan Krishnamoorthy that primarily addresses issues related to social and systemic inequalities within society and secondly, offers basic education and essential facilities and services to those groups of people who do not have the privilege to do so. The project aims at empowering people of all genders, particularly youth women, transgender and gender non-binary people through offering quality education alongside essential facilities and services that will encourage further discourse and action on these affairs. During the period of Millennium Fellowship (August – November 2021), FEEL will be organizing events and activities that will hopefully reach and impact a lot of people.

He is also a musician, he is part of the cultural club of the university as a guitarist. From childhood, Sarthak was very curious about sprituality and meditation. He would often try to experience meditation through youtube videos. He enrolled himself in an Art of Living course, on the first day of the course he decided he wants to reach people and teach them meditation for free. Through Millennium Fellowship and his strong leadership, he wants to contribute to the society by reaching rural parts of India, where people experience depression, anxiety, stress and cannot afford meditation courses.
