ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2021

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In 2021, over 25,000 young leaders on 2,000+ campuses across 153 nations applied to join the Class of 2021. 136 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 2,000+ Millennium Fellows. The Class of 2021 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Food For All

Food For All (F.F.A) is an independent project led b Millennium Fellow Arman Rahman. Food For All (F.F.A) addresses issues of social justice for food. The project aims to engage with members of the BUP community (both students and faculty), and eventually the greater Bangladeshi community, to reflect on the social food crisis. During the Millennium Fellowship Period (August-December 2020), project F.F.A will host a minimum of 3 online events. These events will ensure creative decision-making for fighting hunger. F.F.A aims to help approximately 300 people with food during this time.

About the Millennium Fellow

Arman Rahman is a bright, young and globally competitive BBA student at the Bangladesh University of Professionals. He was born in Bangladesh and currently studying there. For as long as he remembers, Arman has always been passionate about solving social issues like hunger, cleanliness, sustainable consumption etc. This drive and ardour translated itself from Arman’s experiences in the international community and his continuous dedication to social action. Throughout his school, college and currently in his university, he has successfully organized various philanthropic projects and social movements; which through his outstanding leadership, he plans to continue in the future. Arman aspires to be in a professional field where he can cultivate these further, and provide his own contribution to the development of the United Nations’s Sustainable Goals.
