Millennium Fellowship Project: You Will Benefit Too - انت كمان هتستفاد
Enta kaman htstfad "You will benefit too" is the first of its kind in the Arab Republic of Egypt initative that aims to publish specialized policy papers in a different way and with a youth view on working on gender equality in the entities most interested in this according to three main aspects: from the economic point of view, public/political participation, and the economic aspect. Through the initative, our team aims to hold training sessions to raise the awareness about gender equality. The initative will result in supporting and empowering 100 girls in the private and public fields in every governorate and the transfer of expertise from specialists in economic and social fields, to public participation.
About the Millennium Fellow
Menna Shaker Mohamed Arafat, is a second year medical student at Kasr Al-Ainy, Cairo University. She is a writer and published her first book at Cairo International Book Fair 2020 which was said to be one of the top 100 books for that period by some journalists. In addition to medicine, she also studies film-making as she is interested in cinema and scriptwriting. Menna is an active member of almost all students activities at her faculty and also a volunteer at many civil society organizations. She is interested in attending national and international forums, conferences and camps such as Paris Peace Forum, international youth day festival, Egyptian youth conference, etc. She also took part in the National Debate Forum as a debater which is one of the most important activities of the Young Med voices organization. She is interested in science communication and different science topics particularly those related to neurology.
