I am extremely driven in my work at Flipitt- a reworked apparel brand I founded last year, which truly symbolises 'small but meaningful impact'. Hoping to gain new perspectives & challenge some beliefs through this experience! "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Flipitt
Flipitt is an online clothing store and blog that promotes a circular economy in clothing by upcycling surplus fabrics into unique, reworked garments.
About the Millennium Fellow
Arunima Gupta is a resilient, passionate and young adult. She was born and raised in New Delhi, India and is pursuing her undergraduate degree in Economics from University of Delhi, India.
Since a very young age, she was introduced to the dichotomy of Indian lives and how privilege shaped her world. In her small ways, she started contributing to the society by organising collection camps to provide school supplies for a special needs school in her neighborhood when she was 10 years old. With time, this passion to spread awareness & mobilise resources for the needy shaped into has only increased. She wishes to be an active citizen in civil society.
