" The Millennium Fellowship would be a great step in my service journey. Mahatma Gandhi's words inspire me to think of the poorest person I know and see if my actions will bear any impact on her/his life. This Fellowship is a big 'yes' to my dream of alleviating negative differences. The exposure I will receive from here will transcend me on my creative, mental and psychological levels. I am proud to be a part of this Fellowship since it truly cares for all people. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Aksharam
Aksharam is an initiative trying to modify conversations. We want to make people aware of some topics and also wish to initiate open conversations on these, beginning from schools. We hope that this may trigger such conversations at homes as well. Legal awareness, mental health, gender spectrum, sex education, menstruation, pregnancy, child development and psycholgy are some of the topics that we have chosen, on public demand. We have collaborated with some personalities who will be providing us with the contents. These will be curated into booklets. Each topic will have three booklets designed specifically for three different categories viz kids, adolescents and adults.
