Millennium Fellowship Project: UN-Rogya

UN-Rogya aims at providing providing primary health care (phc) to the poor who cannot even afford basic phc facilities. We are planning to provide phc at the doorsteps of the beneficiaries. We will set up a portable Un-Rogya clinic in their localities which will be easily accessible.

Our volunteers will initiate a drive twice a month wherein they will provide basic first-aid and medicines. Apart from doing this bare minimum our clinic will be equipped with thermometer oxy-meter ,blood pressure machine etc to check the health status of the beneficiaries. Our health volunteers will issue a health card for the beneficiaries according to their symptoms and direct them to early diagnosis to a proper doctor. The doctor will further carry out the required treatment at the charitable amount.

We will also lay emphasis on women's health targeting menstrual poverty as we will create awareness about the tabboo attached to it in India. With the help of corporate social responsibility (csr) we would collaborate with brands which are already dealing with the manufacturing of the menstrual products and distribute them to needy.

We will also organise various webinars and workshops to reach out to the beneficiaries and support our cause. We will host 8 distribution drivers/events in 4 months and 4 workshops during this period which will create awareness about our cause. Our coverage thoroughout these 4 months will be around 150-200 per drive.
