ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2021

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In 2021, over 25,000 young leaders on 2,000+ campuses across 153 nations applied to join the Class of 2021. 136 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 2,000+ Millennium Fellows. The Class of 2021 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

" Excitement comes from interest and interest comes directly from feeling to do something, curiosity, to be the known, part of the idea, etc. Millennium Fellowship is the platform to drive the change with positive mindset and to be a changemaker in society along with its nature of dynamism. The skills, I gain from the fellowship will make my social impact on students and different communities more tangible and aligned with the UNAI principles and SDGs. I am excited to increase my anticipatory competence by envisioning new ways of learning and creativity. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Known

Project KNOWN. Solely started with the aim of targeting the SDG 4 ( Quality Edication ) and SDG 16 ( Peace, Justice and Strong Institution) mainly focused towards Education of Underprivileged children in slum area.

About the Millennium Fellow

Piyush is a young and versatile bachelor's student of Political Science Hons. at Sri Venkateswara College. He was born in New Delhi and currently studying Politics, Administration, International relations, etc. His thoughts and Idea to do something good for others comes from his childhood experience by doing Sewa, attending Social Welfare gathering, or Charitable foundation groups. He strongly believes in Moral and Ethics that uplifts and spreads message of humanity, Peace, and Justice. He is a passionate percussionist in the college Theatre society and actively Engaged in student welfare councils. He is also chief treasurer of the Political science Association. He is a learner and has basic skills of Public Speaking, Volunteering, Project Coordination, and Welfare activities. Piyush aspires to be in a professional field where he can cultivate these advocacies further, and provide his own contribution in the development of the United Nations' Sustainable Development goals.
