Millennium Fellowship Project: Analysis of Unemployment Insurance in Florida
This project will examine the disconnect between the number of unemployed workers and the total recipients of unemployment insurance in Miami City.
About the Millennium Fellow
Krishna is a third year economics honors student pursuing a minor in math at Florida International University. She is the president of ICAN FIU, an organization dedicated to helping women become public servants, and she is the under secretary general of logisitics and finance of her university's Model United Nations program. Krishna believes fostering economic growth is imperative for human progress, which is why her Millennium project focuses on unemployed workers and securing state assistance.
