" The blend of past systems with innovations will drive a long lasting change. Sometimes what has been done for the past years is not at total fault, it just needs a fresh perspective on implementation. I'm extra be a Millennium Fellowship because I believe I will be put to the test in terms of collaboration with my peers and compromisation when needed. It's important to challenge yourself in order to see how the push to the edge changes the plasticity of your mind and your ways to improve them and elevate them. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: PASTA!

PASTA! is an after-school program/workshop for elementary school and middle school children in underserved areas. The focus of the program is to blend scholastic and nutrition education in an interactive way that will hopefully transcend into the domestic life of the students. The program is divided into two parts, nutrition education and scholastic tutoring. During the nutrition portion the students will be given nutritional and culinary education on how to compose healthy dishes and snacks, emphasizing the positive approach of the Mediterranean diet. During the tutoring portion, the students will be given help with their homework or any other material they need guidance on.
