" Over the years, i have been a clean water advocate in several rural area.
Different tonnes of wastes are been released to the environment daily. Some of these wastes actually take years to decay, while many are been pilled up in drainages and flows into the river.

Wastes when not properly disposed or managed has an adverse effect on the environment which can lead to disease outbreak, erosion, and endager acquatic and human lives.

With Millennium Fellowship, I can expand my scope in the clean water sanitation aspect. Looking forward to meet people of like mind, and with Millennium Fellowship, it's possible. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: SDG Sensitization

For so long, in our country, coming to college has been seen as "for Academics" only. While that's a major reason for studying in college,it is
important to note that soldiers do not prepare for battles at the war front. Hence, we decided to take a different path, in showing our passion for the advancement of SDG4. The goal this time around was to let students understand the concept of SDGs, importance and applications of SDGs, while citing the Millenium Fellowship as an example of platform for advancement of the SDGs.

With over 24,000 students on our campus, we dimmed fit to educate these students on the subject matter and help them prepare for life after college! Our goals were achieved using the following mediums:
1.) Faculty orientation programs for freshmen.
2.) Departmental and faculty programs for students.
3.) Person-to-person sensitization.
