About the Millennium Fellow
Tobiloba Olanipekun is a creative, dynamic, versatile and global social change agent who currently studies Building Technology at the Federal University of Technology Akure. He was born in Osun State, Nigeria and currently resides in Akure, Ondo State where he schools.
For many years now, Tobiloba has been very passionate about girls, women, youth and community development. He's a promoter of the Global Goals, staunch advocate of Gender Equality and an FGM Activist. This great enthusiasm has afforded him opportunity to be an active player in the social development space within and outside Nigeria.
Ever since his activism against the practice of FGM and other social impact works, he has successfully organized social projects, local cum international summits and conferences; which through his drive for positive social change and leadership traits, he plans to futuristically forge ahead.
Tobiloba strongly sees himself in a professional field where he can pursue these advocacies further in the social development space and contribute immensely to the actualization of the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals.
