ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2021

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In 2021, over 25,000 young leaders on 2,000+ campuses across 153 nations applied to join the Class of 2021. 136 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 2,000+ Millennium Fellows. The Class of 2021 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Energy Buddies

I have been working with a local elementary school to teach children about the importance of energy efficiency. They learn about fossil fuels and their impacts on the environment, and easy ways (like turning off the lights) to reduce their energy footprints.

About the Millennium Fellow

Catherine Moore is a senior at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia, studying Public Policy and Environmental Science. She has experience working on climate and energy policy issues for the state of Georgia as well as with the US Department of Energy. She is passionate about the environment and about educating others implement lifestyle and community changes which will benefit us all.
