ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2021

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In 2021, over 25,000 young leaders on 2,000+ campuses across 153 nations applied to join the Class of 2021. 136 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 2,000+ Millennium Fellows. The Class of 2021 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Asido Campus Network

Asido Campus Network is a community of undergraduate students sharing a common vision of improving mental health literacy m among university students and providing help to students with mental health challenges.

About the Millennium Fellow

Akinniyi Hafeez Toluwalope is a young, enthusiastic and passion-driven fifth year student of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He hails from the south western part of Nigeria. Right from a very young age, he has always been conscious of the mental and emotional wellbeing of people around him. The blazing passion he has for mental health advocacy today was sparked to life following a difficult episode of illness a friend experienced. Since then, he has actively pursued the cause. He is currently a member of a mental health organization that promotes mental health and empowers service users.
