ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2021

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In 2021, over 25,000 young leaders on 2,000+ campuses across 153 nations applied to join the Class of 2021. 136 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 2,000+ Millennium Fellows. The Class of 2021 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Student Network Transition

Student Network Transition seeks to prepare youth particularly students for the post pandemic changes in the future of works by equipping them with relevant skills and online and capacity building training

About the Millennium Fellow

Taofeekat Adigun is currently in her final year pursuing a bachelor's degree in Health Education at University of Ibadan. She's a social educator working actively in the education and youth transition sector.
Her passion for youth transition and decent employment led her to found Student Network, an initiative that prepares undergraduates for the future of work through different capacity building training.

Her consummate experience in workplace and job reforms had led her to represent Commonwealth Youth and Gender Equality Network (CYGEN) as an expert witness for Commonwealth Youth Parliament. She has continued to represent various international community's, and organises various projects championing the cause on youth transition, gender equality and access to quality education.

Taofeekat aspires to cultivate this advocacy further by tackling the high level of unemployment, and future work reform further exacerbated by the pandemic and provide her own contribution in the development of the United Nations’ Sustainable Goals.
