" I am ecstatic to be a Millennium Fellow as it will help me gain real world experience in starting and conducting social development projects. I am hoping to learn various new skills that I can implement in my future careers and social work. The idea of working in a team and striving for a singular goal of making life slightly better for even just one person makes this fellowship an enticing deal. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Sign With Us

Sign With Us is an initiative that aims to work for individuals with hearing and speech impairment by spreading Indian Sign Language based literacy amongst academics, corporates and general communities. This will aid multilingual and inclusive learning in Indian academic institutions. Which connects to SDG 4 i.e quality education and SDG 10 i.e Reduced Inequality. Alongside, we aim to sensitise corporates to help the hearing and speech impaired communities get equal opportunities to build a career. This would support them to become financially independent.
