" I am thrilled to be a part of Millennium Fellowship as it will allow me to maximise the potential of the impact I want to achieve. By being a part of such a diverse and global community, I will be able to influence and get inspired by the contributions of my peers. The opportunity to learn and interact with ambitious young people will help me develop personally. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Needs of the Special
NOTS stands for Needs of the Special, taken from the term “have-nots”, used to commonly refer to people below the poverty line. We are a passionate and motivated team of 6 second-year undergraduate students of the BS-MS dual degree course of IISER Tirupati, hailing from different parts of India. Our project focuses on making Quality education our prime objective along with the implementation of society, accepting and understanding the needs of children with special needs.
About the Millennium Fellow
Rishi Chaurasia is a shining, juvenile and globally competitive second-year Honors student pursuing a BS-MS degree at IISER Tirupati. He is a part of Unnati, the outreach arm of IISER. An explorer who enjoys the journey of learning something new as much as the destination itself, he loves to juggle his multiple interests constantly. Rishi has always been passionate about her advocacies for social justice, social impact, environmental sustainability, and psychology. He aims to build capacity in people to help them achieve their goals. As exhausting as it all may get sometimes, it only takes a refreshing break for him to yearn to dive back into this delectable blend of neat, structured logic, boundless creativity, and compassionate empathy.
