ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2021

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In 2021, over 25,000 young leaders on 2,000+ campuses across 153 nations applied to join the Class of 2021. 136 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 2,000+ Millennium Fellows. The Class of 2021 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Project UnMute

UnMute is our campaign focused on empowering women through the destigmatization of menstrual health and hygiene and violence against women by generating awareness and conducting self-defence classes.

About the Millennium Fellow

Abhilash Chakravarty loves to tackle problems, is a social butterfly and is currently majoring in Chemical Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. He wants to use the resources and position that he gains access to for the good of society and has been involved in social endeavours to help forward equality of women in India. He believes strongly the power of People, and the fact that if motivated by a common and strong goal, they can be led to create great impacts on the community and make the world a bit better, one initiative at a time.
