Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Agaah
Project Agaah in lucid terms can be delineated as a student-led programme that aims to make people aware of the problems faced by teenagers and young adults due to lack of sexual knowledge, educating the youth about safe sexual practices, consent, gender equity and embracing the importance of normalizing the feminine sexual needs.
About the Millennium Fellow
Akanksha Yadav is an active NSS office bearer who donates much of her time in social service . She is hard-working students who try to invest 100% of their time in the field of their choice. She was born in Varanasi and is currently studying in Indraprastha College for Women, Delhi University. She represent humility, empathy and inclusion as core to her work . She is passionate for social service in which she has helped many Visually challenged in their academics. She's Comfortable in Communicating about Diversity and Inclusion. Having frank and earnest discussions about diversity and inclusion can take some people outside of their comfort zones. She's extremely motivated and always puts her best effort into classroom assignments and everything.
She also encourage people to Speak Up. I can assure you that she's honest to herself, and I believe that apart from all the skills, being honest to yourself is one of the essentials to be a member of any team. She don’t shy away from doing the works that are expected from her. She'll do everything that is right to do. Basically, I want to say that yes, she won’t lie to someone for her team; but she’ll save her team from going to a situation where you have to lie. She integrates possibilities to try their best to make things. She's an organised, determined, respectful and a responsible student.
