Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Zivah
Project Zivah aims to work for the care and welfare of school and college students by recognising, reducing and challenging everyday sexism while promoting gender equality. It serves the students by providing awareness to empower them to challenge gender stereotypes in their everyday lives. Under it, the Millennium Fellows are working with community groups and collaborating with non-profit organisations of similar causes to improve the level of insight into gender sensitisation. Through our project we are targeting the overall lack of awareness around how sexism can impact mental health by providing awareness to teenagers and young adults. Our project strives to motivate students to identify what’s right and wrong, and work towards reducing injustice and inequalities.
