" I am excited and grateful to be a Millennium Fellow because I think is an unique opportunity to be part of a community with people who are passionate about changing the world. Also, I am sure that I will learn a lot from my peers during this experience, and we will share differents ideas and perspectives in order to generate a bigger social impact. Personally, I believe that education and this kind of program helps our generation to achieve the 2030 Agenda about the Sustainable Development Goals. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Talento de Barrio

Talento de Barrio is an educational project with high social impact, and the objective is to bring educational opportunities and personal growth to young people from public secondary schools who live in vulnerable areas. We help students in middle school offering them academic reinforcement in areas such as Math, Spanish, Science, and English. Additionally the students have the opportunity to choose two workshops like dance, art, science, and sports. We work to provide educational and personal growth opportunities to young students, and ensure inclusive, equitable, and quality education as well as promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.
