In 2021, over 25,000 young leaders on 2,000+ campuses across 153 nations applied to join the Class of 2021. 136 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 2,000+ Millennium Fellows. Millennium Fellowship Project: Talento de Barrio
Talento de Barrio is an educational project with high social impact, and the objective is to bring educational opportunities and personal growth to young people from public secondary schools who live in vulnerable areas. We help students in middle school offering them academic reinforcement in areas such as Math, Spanish, Science, and English. Additionally the students have the opportunity to choose two workshops like dance, art, science, and sports. We work to provide educational and personal growth opportunities to young students, and ensure inclusive, equitable, and quality education as well as promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.
About the Millennium Fellow
Cinthya Marsella Castañeda de León is a Social Transformation student at Tecnologico de Monterrey with concentration in Political Studies. Committed and empathetic person, she has experience in social projects and initiatives about education, inclusion of vulnerable groups and the environment. She is interested in studies of public opinion and public policy, social innovation and Corporate Social Responsibility.
