" To be a Millennium Fellow is an honour as it allows you an opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals motivated to bring a positive change in society. Also, providing a deeper and broader understanding of the issues faced by the world, it also opens up more horizons for novel ideas and change by being a part of the voice of growth and development. I also find it essential to mention what a Fellowship exactly connotes, 'it is a friendly association, especially with people who share common interests' Thus, I can say that this opportunity will help me become a part of a global community of similar goal-oriented individuals who wish to work for the betterment and benefit of humanity. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Mindfulness With Joy

Mindfulness with Joy is a pertinent example of how inequalities can be reduced and inclusiveness can be brought in, in society. The project from its inception aims to engage children and adults with special needs in various activities which will not only promote their overall development but also help spread joy. It aims to improve overall social awareness about specially abled persons. We also aim to help children with disabilities feel equal and feel capable of doing the things that those without physical disabilities do.
