" I like to think of myself as a people's person, a person driven by throwing himself in the deep end and learning to adapt in the hardest of situations. Being a part of the Millennium Fellowship will enhance my critical thinking skills as well as my already-enhanced social skills. I see myself working in a team, be it a football team or a research team. This experience will act as a stepping stone, showing me the direction to excellence. I look forward to learning new ways through which I can not only bring my team up with me, but teach them how to climb the ladder as well. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Blue Alert Rating System

We are creating a rating system for promoting
water efficiency and sustainable consumption.
This will help the environment, future
generations, and farmers will move to less
water-consuming crops. We want every
product from shirts to tables to be rated using
our system, however, the first step is to start
with primary derivatives from crops. On every
packet, we want to show how much water has
been used for 1 kilogram of the whole packet.
This project will start in India, with the potential
to move to an international audience. We can
help consumers make the right choice and
optimize their water footprints, and there is no
rating system like this anywhere else. This is a
long-term system that will support the need to
live sustainable lifestyles.
