Millennium Fellowship Project: Mental Health Matters
Our project Mental health matters as from the name is mainly focusing on the mental health of the young generation and to help them on matters affecting their mental wellbeing and to help them to deal with depression and other life obstacles whether big or small.
About the Millennium Fellow
Maureen Wambui Njenga is currently a fourth year student at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Business Computing.She is an enthusiastic ,social,responsible and performance driven individual.She is a Kenyan National by birth.She comes from a compassionate and supportive family,whose values hold a great importance to her and influence most of her decisions.Academically, she is a bright, self-driven student committed to intellectual growth and innovation.She
loves to engage in continuous learning in order to broaden her knowledge and experience. One of her best qualities is that,she is perfectly capable of switching from a hardworking individual in a work setting to an enthusiastic and expressive individual in a creative setting.Maureen has a wide range of interests and loves to engage in different hobbies.One of her great passions is on Mental Health as she believes "The Mind is the most powerful tool of an individual" and if people can learn how to heal from the negative experiences and get the best out of ourselves,then they can begin to live a more fulfilled life.
All in all, Maureen is a go-getter and a champion for Change in today's society.
