Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Save The Woman "STW"
The project SAVE THE WOMAN is focused mainly on how to tackle the issue of maternal mortality and childbirth related complications such as vaginal tear and fistulas by either totally eradicating or minimizing the numbers in our target population. No woman deserves to die or get impaired while trying to maintain the natural course of life.
About the Millennium Fellow
Bashar Salihu is a hard-working and fun individual born in a polygamous family in Nothern Nigeria. He's currently a final year medical student in the Kaduna State University. His hobbies include participating and following sport programs. He truly has a passion to make a difference and have impact in the world especially partaining issues surrounding women. Women rights and women health in general. Since I'm inclined towards the health profession, I look forward to using my skills and whatever influence I get from the mellimum fellowship to make my dream come true.
