ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2021

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In 2021, over 25,000 young leaders on 2,000+ campuses across 153 nations applied to join the Class of 2021. 136 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 2,000+ Millennium Fellows. The Class of 2021 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Save The Woman "STW"

The project SAVE THE WOMAN is focused mainly on how to tackle the issue of maternal mortality and childbirth related complications such as vaginal tear and fistulas by either totally eradicating or minimizing the numbers in our target population. No woman deserves to die or get impaired while trying to maintain the natural course of life.

About the Millennium Fellow

Dorothy Anyilo Joshua a dedicated, hardworking, smart student, entrepreneur and an upcoming human right activist. Born and raise in Kaduna, a state in the Northwestern part of Nigeria, she has lived to two decades and by the grace of God still counting. She is a medical student, who is currently in her 5th year in Kaduna State University Kaduna Nigeria. Her passion and love for her people started as she grew up in a society where the was division, inequality and no equity for people from poor socioeconomic background, having to grow out from mediocrity has decided to use everything opportunity to make a difference. Being a fellow in MCN she play a part as she works on with SDG goals to make a difference.
