United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In 2021, over 25,000 young leaders on 2,000+ campuses across 153 nations applied to join the Class of 2021. 136 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 2,000+ Millennium Fellows. The Class of 2021 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

" Being a part of the Millennium Fellowship will surely enhance my leadership and communication skills. This would ultimately help me to gain a bigger impact in my society which is lacking proper health screening and awareness programs. Being a part of the class of 2021 will surely connect me with more people and their stories. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Health For All

Helalth for all is a project targetting the necesstities that I saw in a community school nearby. Due to lack of financial supports and being in a remote area they are quite in lack of proper health facilities. This project includes a group of my team who are not millennium fellows but we as a group have been performing various activities similar to this. This project will help in screening of the diseases that most of the students are suffering. For this project I have partnered with an organization here. I have also talked with the principal of the school and they are in support of this project. The project has already completed the first phase which included sessions on hand washing and menstrual awarnesss practices. And for the second phase which is to distribute necessary medicines with the help of medical professinals, I am collecting the necessary resources. It was supposed to be completed earlier but due to a long vacation in school the project couldn't be completed. Now the project is targetted to be fully completed within this December. Being a medical student its very touching to see young students suffering from various minor problems and those problems are not addressed earlier which ultimately turns out to be a major complication. So I aim to bring at least a small change in my community school and help to achive SDG goal 3.
