In 2021, over 25,000 young leaders on 2,000+ campuses across 153 nations applied to join the Class of 2021. 136 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 2,000+ Millennium Fellows. Millennium Fellowship Project: Aawaaj

The project 'Aawaaj' was developed to conclude a standard research paper focusing on Corruption in Nepal based on the questionnaires in relation to the contents of the research and finally, analysis of accumulated data to demonstrate the finding and comparative study of effective corruption control laws and policies to provide certain recommendations to the government . The prime objective of this project is to understand the level of corruption in Nepal through the opinion of the general public and provide suggestions to the government for effective control of corruption, based on the analysis of collected data and laws around the world. Consequently its been planned to get it published in a reputed legal journal in Nepal.

About the Millennium Fellow

Dipsikha Guragain is a undergraduate at Kathmandu University School of law with aspiring interest in administrative law. Her advocacies for reproductive rights, gender equality and human rights have always motivated her to work with diverse teams to bring about the positive change in the attitude of society. She is always enthusiastic to endeavor her hidden potentialities and sharpen her leadership skills. Dipsikha aspires to use all her experiences and skills especially in the administrative law sector and promote the good governance in relation to UN sustainable goals.
