Millennium Fellowship Project: Personal Hygiene School Program
Personal hygiene school progam project was established on june11,2021 by medical as well as
non medical youths with the aim of improving personal hygiene of school going children and
access to safe drinking water. In some parts of my country there is little or no awareness of
good hygiene practices and their role in reducing the spread of disease. However, it is often the
case that even when people do have knowledge of good hygiene behaviour, they lack the soap,
safe water and washing facilities they need to make positive changes to protect themselves and
their community. We conducted three program in three different nearby school with more
than200 children getting inspired,encouraged to fight against waterborne diseases.We
demonstrate the simple means of handwashing technique (As per WHO wandwashing
guideline)in three different school by a simple means of group dance to ensure the awareness in
more easy and fun way.We describe all the advantage of hand washing and safe drinking water
and disadvantage of not doing so.Not only the children but all the teachers staff were also
inspired and encouraged to make ensure about their student health in school hours.We
distribute 20 antimicrobial soap to each school.

Gaurav is a final year medical student hard working, highly motivated,energetic, and
passionate about his own work who is not afraid to face a challenge and seek
out opprtunities. Gaurav is also a social work volunteer who is always ready to help
and support needy and poor people to improve their lives.
