" Empathy and compassion. To work in a field that is in relation to human emotions and mental health,one must be able to empathize as well as have compassion for those faceing challages in the field. This in return guides the professional on the right and most appropriate way to go forth and give maximum help to the client. Being a social and extrovated person, this qualities are by default my strengths therefore I do what I do. In Millennium Fellowship I aim at learning more of these and others to expand my knowledge on how to deal with different and difficult situations to ensure growth and awareness of these difficulties for healthy minds and hearts. "

About the Millennium Fellow
Grace Chege is a social, fun, charismatic, outgoing university student, pursuing a bachelor's degree in psychology at Kenyatta university. Since she can remember,she is born and raised in Kenya and a patriot of the said country. From primary school through highschool she was known as the nice and outgoing, extrovated student and everyone around appreciated her. Even in campus, her group of friends can vouch of her goodness and innocence. She is a Christian who loves giving back to the community and any opportunity she gets, she seizes and puts her all in it. She appreciates the good in life and learns from the bad. She aims higher,is a team player and learns from others to perfect her skills. She is of good conduct and smiles alot.
