Millennium Fellowship Project: Creating Awareness on Cyberbullying
The project creates awareness on Cyberbullying among high school students and campus students. It involves doing the sensitization by visiting high schools having interactive sessions with the students just to make them know what Cyberbullying is and how to avoid being a victim, same case applys to the campus students. The project further defines the negative effects of Cyberbullying with academic performance and other repercussions such as suicide, mental health problems and stigma
About the Millennium Fellow
Ruth Berryl Otieno is a young, vibrant, energetic, and a visionary student at Kenyatta University. She was born in West Pokot County, and currently lives in Nakuru, Kenya. Throughout her young life, she has always been enthusiastic of starting philanthropic projects that have impact, focusing on promotion of human rights. She believes in inclusivity as a young African leader, so as to foster cohesion in the society. Promotion of UNAI principles and SDGs in her community is of much importance for successful well being of every individual. Being a Millennium Fellowship member is her utmost delight.
