Millennium Fellowship Project: Give Her a Chance
My project is the Give Her a chance (GHAC) project that works with community leaders to identify and mentor and skill young girls and women who have victims of teenage pregnancy and early marriages in northern Uganda with the aim of empowering them in all aspects including financially .It involves organising mentorship sessions where we invite women that have had the same experience but managed to pull through and live independently to inspire and encourage the girls to dream for better.During the skilling sessions we invite trained personnel in the different fields like baking, tailoring, hair dressing to equip these girls with necessary skills for financial growth .
